Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Luxe Decor, every wallpaper project is handled with care, precision, and attention to detail. From design selection and wall measurement to custom wallpaper preparation and professional installation, our goal is to provide a smooth and transparent experience.

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how order cancellations, refunds, custom wallpaper preparation, and installation-related issues are handled.

1. Free Visit, Measurement & Quotation

Luxe Decor may offer a free design visit, wall measurement, sample viewing, and quotation support to help customers choose the right wallpaper before placing an order.

Customers are free to accept or reject the quotation before confirming the order. No cancellation fee applies before the order is confirmed.

2. Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed when the customer approves the quotation, wallpaper design, size, material, price, or installation schedule through WhatsApp, phone, email, invoice, website order, or written confirmation.

After confirmation, Luxe Decor may begin one or more of the following steps:

  • Design preparation or design adjustment
  • Wallpaper size adjustment according to wall measurements
  • Material arrangement or supplier coordination
  • Printing preparation or production processing
  • Installation team scheduling
  • Admin, quotation, and order coordination work
Important: Many Luxe Decor orders are customized according to the customer’s selected design, wall size, material choice, and installation requirement. Because of this, cancellation charges may apply after processing starts.

3. Cancellation by Customer

If a customer wants to cancel an order after confirmation, the cancellation will be reviewed based on the current order status.

If the cancellation is requested before processing, printing, material preparation, or scheduling has started, Luxe Decor may approve a full or partial refund depending on the order status.

If the cancellation is requested after order processing has started, Luxe Decor will deduct 30% of the total order value as cancellation charges. The remaining 70% will be refunded to the customer.

The 30% deduction covers design preparation, admin work, printing or material handling, production coordination, and reserved installation scheduling.

4. Custom Wallpaper & Made-to-Measure Orders

Most Luxe Decor wallpaper orders are made or prepared according to the customer’s selected design, wall measurements, material choice, and installation requirement.

For custom wallpaper, mural wallpaper, made-to-measure wallpaper, special-size wallpaper, or printed designs, cancellations may not be accepted once printing or material preparation has started.

If cancellation is approved at that stage, the 30% cancellation deduction may apply.

5. Refund Eligibility

A refund or partial refund may be considered in the following cases:

  • The customer cancels before order processing begins
  • The wrong wallpaper design is supplied by Luxe Decor
  • The wrong size is prepared due to Luxe Decor’s confirmed measurement error
  • The product has a clear manufacturing defect
  • The installation issue is caused by Luxe Decor’s installation team
  • Luxe Decor is unable to complete the confirmed service

All refund requests are reviewed based on the order details, approval messages, design confirmation, measurement records, payment status, and installation status.

6. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds may not be approved in the following cases:

  • The customer changes their mind after the order is processed
  • The customer selected and approved the design but later dislikes the color, pattern, or style
  • The wallpaper has already been printed or prepared according to approved measurements
  • The customer provided incorrect wall measurements
  • The wall condition is not suitable for wallpaper installation and was not disclosed earlier
  • The customer delays, refuses, or cancels installation after team or material preparation
  • The product is damaged after delivery or installation due to misuse, moisture, leakage, scratches, or third-party work
  • The customer asks for changes after final design approval
Wallpaper colors may look slightly different due to screen brightness, lighting, wall condition, camera settings, and material texture. Small color variations are not considered a defect.

7. Design, Color & Measurement Approval

Before processing an order, customers are requested to carefully check and confirm:

  • Wallpaper design
  • Color tone
  • Wall size and measurement
  • Material type
  • Quantity
  • Installation area
  • Final quotation amount
  • Installation date and location

Once approved, Luxe Decor will process the order according to the confirmed details. Any change requested after confirmation may result in extra charges, delay, or cancellation deduction depending on the order status.

8. Installation-Related Issues

If there is an installation-related issue, the customer should inform Luxe Decor as soon as possible with clear photos or videos.

Luxe Decor will review the issue and may offer one of the following solutions:

  • Inspection visit
  • Repair or adjustment
  • Partial correction
  • Replacement of affected area, if applicable
  • Partial refund, if applicable

Installation complaints should be reported within 24 hours after installation so our team can inspect the issue properly.

Luxe Decor will not be responsible for issues caused by wall leakage, moisture, weak paint, poor plaster, cracks, uneven walls, dust, third-party work, or damage caused after installation.

9. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed using the available payment method agreed with the customer.

Refund processing may take 7 to 14 working days after approval, depending on the payment method, bank, or transfer process.

If the customer paid by cash, bank transfer, card, or online payment, the refund method will be confirmed during the refund review.

10. Cancellation Deduction Example

The 30% cancellation deduction applies to the total confirmed order value, not only to the advance payment amount.

Example

Total confirmed order value AED 1,000
30% cancellation deduction AED 300
Refund amount AED 700

11. When No Cancellation Deduction Applies

The 30% cancellation deduction will not apply if:

  • The cancellation is due to an error from Luxe Decor
  • Luxe Decor supplied a different confirmed design
  • Luxe Decor cannot fulfill the confirmed order
  • The customer cancels before order confirmation and before any processing starts

We believe in fair service and clear communication. If the issue is from our side, we will take responsibility and provide a suitable solution.

12. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation or refund, please contact Luxe Decor with your order details.

Please include:

  • Full name
  • Contact number
  • Order or quotation details
  • Payment proof, if available
  • Reason for cancellation or refund
  • Photos or videos, if the request is related to product or installation issue

13. Important Customer Agreement

By confirming an order with Luxe Decor, the customer agrees that:

  • They have reviewed and approved the design, size, price, and order details
  • Custom wallpaper orders may begin processing after confirmation
  • Cancellation after processing may result in a 30% deduction
  • Refunds are reviewed according to the order and installation status
  • Luxe Decor will fairly resolve genuine product or service issues

I confirm that I have reviewed the wallpaper design, measurement, material, price, and order details. I understand that if I cancel my confirmed order after processing, printing, material preparation, or scheduling has started, Luxe Decor may deduct 30% of the total order value and refund the remaining balance.
